Callaway Resort & Gardens

What little Gem. This was our first visit to Callaway Gardens. It was just myself and 2 kids. We walked in and were greeted right away. Check-in was easy, and we were up in our room in minutes. The room was spotless. You can tell the housekeeper is working hard and it's much appreciated. We enjoyed lunch at casons, and it was delicious the cocktails are spot on. Piedmont dining room offered a wonderful dinner. I have 1 picky kid, and he was able to find something each night and loved everything. All of the waiting staff were as friendly, and had great energy it felt like they all enjoyed doing their job which can often be hard to see in people. The pool was amazing, along with the bar. Now let's talk about the grounds, what a stunning place I felt so at peace anywhere I went. It was so quite and for the most part our little family was the only ones around. The butterfly exhibit was my so fun and so well kept. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. We visit pigeon forge 6 times a year the kids and I both agree this is where we will be visiting for our weekend getaways from now on. As a woman traveling alone with kids I felt so safe the entire trip and that's big bouns.

The setting is in the woods away from the city. We had a balcony room. Wonderful deep soaker tub with separate shower. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff was informative and friendly. We rented bike and rode over to the butterfly conservatory for a tour and butterfly release. Wonderful day. Park entra is excluded in your stay.

The room was very clean, spacious, with a fantastic view of the lake. The location & grounds were perfect for a quick getaway, yet close to the highways. This would be a great location to have a family reunion or business conference.

Everything was first rate. The staff was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very accommodating. It is a little difficult to find your way around the park even with the map. I found myself getting turned around and going in the direction I had just come from, but overall everything was beautiful, well kept, educational and well worth my trip. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The hotel is in a very beautiful location and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were good sized and we were comfortable. The price for the rooms were on the higher side and with no breakfast included not sure it was worth it. We enjoyed seeing the gardens (why we were there) but could take or leave the resort based on nothing really provided.
